Q: How to become a MobiGold subscriber?

A: To become a post-paid customer, please come to MobiGold shop with your own ID, registration book and/or authorized paper(s) and pay. activation fee.

- New subscription, pay activation fee;

- Pre-paid customer swaps to post-paid service, upon usage duration, customer pays 100% and/or 50% of activation fee and/or get free;

- Necessary papers (termination, barring, change of bill address).


Q: How to pay MobiGold monthly bill via ATM Vietcombank?

A: You can pay MobiGold monthly bill via ATM of Vietcombank (Commercial Bank of Vietnam) that reconnects customer?s communications after he/she does the transfer.
Pay bill via ATM customer needs:

- Be a post-paid customer of MobiFone;

- Have Connect 24 card issued by Vietcombank;

- Write a short message MK xxx send to 9223 for password registration (xxxx is transaction password);

- Forgotten password: write a message HOI then send to 9223.


Q: How can a post-paid customer pay monthly bill via bank and get monthly bill?

A: Monthly bill notification will be sent to your registered bank. The invoice will be sent to you via postal address.


Q: How to change a SIM Card 16K to SIM Card 64K?

A: You come to MobiFone shops with your own ID and pay VND 50,000/change.


Q: How a post-paid customer using SIM Card 16K changes to pre-paid service with SIM Card 64K?

A: You gets a free SIM Card 16K but pays VND 25,000 for a SIM Card 64K. You need to present your own ID at MobiFone shop for incoming and outgoing call barred (private); and/or authorized paper (company). Customer pays all charges at the moment of termination and the staff there offers you more advice.


Q: How to register the international roaming service?

A: Referring following cases:

a. In case you are an authorized subscriber you need to present the authorized paper and your own ID at MobiFone shop;

b. In case you are a private subscriber you need to present MobiFone Services Contract, your own ID and VND 5,000,000 for deposit at MobiFone shop.


Q: Why does the international roaming service ask VND 5,000,000 deposit?

A: The service is incremental and MobiFone will be on behalf of customer to pay international operators related charges. Only private subscribers need to deposit.
If you are no longer to use the service and paid all charges, MobiFone will refund your deposit after one (01) month since the termination procedure is done at MobiFone shop.


Q: How to terminate contract in case necessary papers lost?

A: You need to present your own ID at MobiFone shop and pay all charges at the moment of termination.


Q: How to check monthly bill on MobiFone website?

A: You register membership at website: www.mobifone.com.vn. 24 hours later, you can check your detailed bill on website.

Steps:
- Register;

- Fill in necessary personal information form;
- Get a PIN code on your handset;
- Use the PIN code to access the website once for activation;
- Change password as required after first time successful registration;
- Login (username and password) to check bill. While checking bill, you will get a short message notifying your status..


Q: How can a post-paid customer register another subscription?

A: Customer can register multi subscriptions if the registered subscriber is not debt incurred.



Q: How does a MobiCard customer registered in Hanoi city become a post-paid customer in other cities?

A: You can register for post-paid customer at MobiFone Shops in other cities. Refer following cases:

a. Private subscription:

- Vietnamese citizen needs to present ID (passport attached photo and sealed) and registration book;

- Foreign citizen needs to present passport (6-month validity is required) and guarantee of Vietnam-based embassy and/or legible representative office. In case passport has 2 month validity remained, customer deposits VND 3,000,000.

b. Company subscription:

- Stated-owned enterprise and/or public agency presents authorized paper(s) and ID of the name holder;

- Others present authorized paper(s), ID of the name holder and business registration permit (investment permit, joint-venture permit).


Q: How to change language via dialing 900?

A: On handset, press/dial 900-3-2-1 for Vietnamese; press/dial 900-3-1-1 for English.


Q: Can a MobiCard customer swapped to post-paid service get refund in case his/her money in balance is left?

A: Swap to post-paid service, the money left in balance (Mobicard, Mobi4U customer) will be refunded to customer by deducting in monthly bill till the end.


Q: How can a MobiCard customer swap to Mobi4U service?

A: Steps to swap MobiCard to Mobi4U vice versa:

  1. Write MobiCard/Mobi4U then send to 900 for instructions;

  2. Write YES if agree and/or NO if cancel then send to 900.

If successful, you get a notification message. Then, press/dial 900-3-2-1 and/or 901 for activation;
The amount left in balance is not transferred to new service balance. If customer adds card at the same day and successfully swapped before 24:00, the newly added-amount will be transferred but the former wasn?t.


Q: How long does a pre-paid customer whose incoming and outgoing call barred remain subscription number?

A: The duration of remaining subscription (MobiCard and Mobi4U) number is 180 days since the date of incoming and outgoing calls are barred. Later, if customer does not add the balance, your number will be removed.


Q: How to check the balance?

A: Refer 03 options:

- On handset, press *101# OK (some handsets support);

- On handset, press 901 OK;

- Write C then send to 901.

A: MobiFone launched a website http://www.mobifone.com.vn that offers utility services for customers such as messaging via Internet, pictures gallery, hot bill check, ring tones, logos, background pictures...Simply access the website for membership registration to enjoy five free short messages/day.

Q: How to clear PUK displayed on my handset screen?

A: You inserted wrong PIN three times so the PUK warns on your screen. Please contact 18001090 for support.

Q: What is difference between MobiFun and MobiFun Live?
A:
MobiFun and MobiFun Live is commercial name of ring tones and music download service via a number and/or website offered by MobiFone.
The difference:
-MobiFun offers normal handsets to download and/or send favorite music and pictures;
-MobiFun Live offers GPRS/MMS supported handsets to download and/or send polyphonic music, live pictures.

Q: How can I make outgoing call and short message after the balance refilled?
A:
After refill, just wait some minutes for automatic activation.

Q: Why does ?check network service? display on my handset?
A:
The warning often happens to some kind of handsets, not the network. Simply select Setting/Restore factory setting and insert defaulted password 123456.
